PRIVACY POLICY

We provide this information pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Z.z. o ochrane osobných údajov a o zmene a doplnení niektorých zákonov (on the protection of personal data and amending certain acts). Identity and contact details of the controller

The controller of personal data is Realitný expert s.r.o., Bottova 36/7, 971 01 Prievidza, Reg. No. 50154338, registered with the Commercial Register of the District Court of Trenčín, file No. 32536/R (hereinafter "GLAMPING RESORT").

What personal data do we process?

Booking a stay and gift vouchers

When you book a stay with us or buy a gift voucher, we process the data you enter in the booking system, in particular your first and last name, email, phone number, dates of stay, number of guests, ordered services and payment details. The legal basis is the conclusion and performance of a contract. Without this data we cannot accept the booking.

On arrival, we also process the data of accommodated persons that we are required to process by Act No. 582/2004 Z.z. o miestnych daniach a miestnom poplatku za komunálne odpady a drobné stavebné odpady (on local taxes and the local fee for municipal and minor construction waste) and, in the case of foreigners, by Act No. 404/2011 Z.z. o pobyte cudzincov (on the residence of foreigners). The scope of this data is set out in Article 12 of the General Terms and Conditions.

We keep booking data for 10 years, as it underlies our accounting documents. If judicial, administrative or other proceedings begin, we process it to the extent necessary until they end. We keep accounting documents for 10 years under Act No. 431/2002 Z.z. o účtovníctve (on accounting) and data from the register of accommodated guests for the period laid down by the above-mentioned regulations.

Enquiry, email, phone

If you send us an enquiry via the form on the website (for example for a one-night stay), write to us by email or call us, we work with your contact details (name, email, phone) and what you tell us in order to handle your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your questions or, where applicable, steps prior to entering into a contract that you ask us to take. We keep messages and enquiries in our mailbox for up to 10 years, as they may contain accounting documents or information needed to exercise or defend legal claims. You have the right to object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your first name, last name and email address so that we can send you news and offers. The legal basis is your consent, which you confirm by clicking the link in the confirmation email. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to info@glampingresort.sk. We keep the data until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

The glampingresort.sk website uses cookies for functionality, traffic measurement and marketing. On your first visit, a cookies banner appears where you can choose what you consent to. You can change your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" button in the footer.

Strictly necessary cookies (always active)

These store your choice from the cookies banner and data necessary for the site to function. Without them the site could not work correctly.

Analytics (after consent)

Google Analytics 4: anonymised traffic measurement that helps us understand which pages are popular and where we lose visitors. Cookies: _ga, _gid, _gat. Processor: Google Ireland Ltd.

Marketing (after consent)

Meta Pixel: conversion tracking and remarketing for advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. Cookies: _fbp, _fbc. Processor: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.

External services

The site contains an embedded Google Maps map and links to the Ellipse booking system on the booking.glampingresort.sk subdomain. These services may set their own cookies under their own rules.

Withdrawal of consent

You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. After withdrawal we stop using the relevant cookies; you can delete cookies already stored in your browser via your browser settings.

Information storage / security

We process your personal data for as long as necessary, while the purpose of processing lasts or until you withdraw your consent, where processing is based on consent. We protect the personal data in our possession against leakage, misuse and damage to the greatest extent possible. Files containing personal data are password-protected; access is limited to a small number of staff and partners trained on how to handle and protect them.

Who else may have access to your data?

Personal data is accessed by GLAMPING RESORT as the controller and its staff. In addition, the following companies whose services we use may work with the data:

HORECA GROUP s.r.o., Francisciho 20/B, Poprad: the Ellipse booking system (bookings and gift vouchers).

Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting and spam protection for forms (Cloudflare Turnstile).

Google Cloud EMEA Limited and Google Ireland Limited: the mailbox that receives your messages and enquiries, our internal app (Firebase), Google Analytics traffic measurement and the Google Maps map.

The Rocket Science Group LLC (Mailchimp): sending the newsletter.

Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.: Meta Pixel, only after you consent to cookies.

Companies that provide us with IT services, programming services and accounting may also have access to the data.

Transfers of data outside the EU

Some of the companies listed above (Cloudflare, Google, Mailchimp, Meta) may also process data in the USA. They participate in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has decided ensures an adequate level of protection of personal data.

What are your rights?

When we process your personal data, you can exercise the following rights as a data subject. Simply write to us at info@glampingresort.sk.

Information on the processing of your personal data

The information includes mainly: identification and contact details of the controller, its representative and, where applicable, the data protection officer; the purposes of processing; categories of personal data; the recipient or categories of recipients; information on transfers to third countries; retention periods; the list of your rights; the option to contact the supervisory authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky); the source of the processed personal data; and information on whether and how automated decision-making and profiling occur.

Right of access

You have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you, as well as information on how we use your personal data. If you made your request by electronic means, the information will be provided electronically where technically feasible.

Right to rectification

Are we processing personal data that is out of date or inaccurate? Have you, for example, changed your address? Please let us know and we will correct your personal data.

Right to data portability

If you wish us to transfer your personal data to another company, we will pass it on in an appropriate format to the entity you designate, unless there are legal or other significant obstacles preventing us from doing so.

Right to erasure

In certain cases established by law, we are required to delete your personal data on your request.

Right to restriction of processing

You can ask us to process your personal data only to the extent strictly necessary, for example while we verify its accuracy or your objection.

Right to object

You can object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest. We will then stop processing the data unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or need the data to exercise legal claims.

Right to withdraw consent

Where we process your data on the basis of consent (newsletter, analytics and marketing cookies), you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

Right to lodge a complaint
