Grilled peaches with honey, cinnamon and sour cream

Grilled peaches with honey and cinnamon are an ideal summer dessert that is quick and easy to prepare. This recipe is a great way to use up peaches and add a new, delicious dimension to them. The combination of warm, sweet peaches, aromatic cinnamon and smooth sour cream is irresistible. Although the recipe is best with fresh peaches, you can also use canned peaches if you don’t have fresh ones available.


  • 1 can of peaches (approx. 800 g)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar (you can make it by mixing sugar and cinnamon)
  • fresh mint for garnish (optional)


  1. Preparation of peaches: If using canned peaches, drain and gently pat dry with a paper towel. If you have the option of using fresh peaches, wash them, cut them in half and remove the pits. Fresh peaches would add even more flavor and texture to this dessert. Sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with honey.
  2. Grilling peaches: Place the peaches on a grill tray on the preheated grill. Grill them for about 2-3 minutes until they start to get soft. Turn them over and grill for another 1-2 minutes on the other side. Canned peaches are already softer, so they will take less time to grill than fresh peaches.
