Majestic climbing wall
The second largest climbing area in Slovakia, Hrádok, is located near the village of Kamenec pod Vtáčnikom and is one of the most sought-after places for climbers. This natural wall offers a wide range of climbing opportunities, ranging in difficulty from 4 to 9+ according to the French classification. It is made mostly of andesite, providing a solid and stable surface for climbing. The andesite wall reaches heights of up to 100 metres, making Hrádok attractive not only for beginners but also for advanced climbers.
How to get there
From the Glamping Resort you can walk along the hiking trails leading to the Gepňárová Valley. The hike should take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, and the trail is not difficult.
Truly for everyone
For tourists who are not interested in climbing, Hrádok is also a tempting destination for a pleasant walk, as an easy forest path leads to the wall. In addition to watching the climbers, they can use the fireplace for a barbecue. A more challenging alternative is to climb above the climbing wall, but it will reward you with interesting views of the wide surroundings (ladders and chains lead to the top).
